What's Dami? Dami-Fude(brush)?

Have you ever heard about "Dami"?

Dami Brush | JPAP - Japanese Porcelain and Pottery Club

Dami is an underglaze painting technique, where the color is filled and shaded using a large brush after a thin outline is applied to each piece. A high level of skill is required for this process.

As you can see, Dami Fude (Brush in English) is thick, but the tip is extremely thin. This porcelain making tool is unique to Arita porcelain production. The highly skilled artisan shade colors in, adjusting the amount of pain by carefully varying the pressure applied to its brush!
